Laura Fishman - Soprano
Originally from Pennsylvania, soprano Laura Fishman relocated to Montreal to study vocal performance under Joanne Kolomyjec at McGill University in 2015, where she received scholarships for both her academic and vocal achievement .At a young age she joined the Princeton Girlchoir and has been involved in choral music ever since. Last year at McGill she sang with the Schulich Singers. She is also adept in art song and participated in Michael McMahon’s song interpretation class.This year she is pleased to make her opera McGill debut as a cover for the role of Dalinda in Ariodante as well as chorus in Lucia di Lammermoor and Candide.

Lindsay Connolly - Alto
Lindsay Connolly is an opera singer pursuing her Masters of Music at Mc Gill University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Music with distinction from Dalhousie University and was an active performer in Dalhousie as well as Halifax community. She performed as a soloist with Symphony Nova Scotia and Opera Nova Scotia. Since moving to Montreal to work with Joanne Kolomyjec, Lindsay has been performing with Opera McGill and Divertimento Orchestra. Passionate about musicology, she is the recipient of the Joseph Armand-Bombardier Canada Masters Scholarship for her work on interpreting female identity in art song.

Alexander Cappellazzo - Tenor

Born in Scarborough, Ontario Alexander now resides in Verdun. He is continuing his training at McGill University in classical singing. Raised singing in a United Church choir, he then began to study musical theater in high school. He finished his undergraduate degree at McGill and then decided to continue in opera/oratorio repertoire. He has performed with Opera McGill and you can see him in new productions this season. Alexander is thankful to be performing beautiful music with the Mountainside Choir this year.

Christian Carpino - Bass
Christian attended St. Michael’s Choir School (2003-2013) in Toronto where he was immersed in an intensive sacred choral music program. He has performed in a variety of choral concerts in Toronto venues as well as European festivals. He began his undergraduate studies at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University under the mentorship of Annamaria Popescu, Ben Heppner and Winston Purdy. Christian recently completed his Bachelor Music in Voice Performance and is now pursing Bachelors of Common and Civil Law (BCL/LLB) at Mc Gill University.
